Administrative / Biographical History

The family–run printing company of Mackenzie & Storrie Ltd, Leith, Scotland, was incorporated as a private limited company on 28 September 1905. The company has carried out a great deal of printing for the brewing industry. Mackenzie & Storrie Ltd was still operating in 2002.

Custodial History

The collection was previously stored with the rest of the Scottish Brewing Archive at Heriot-Watt University. It moved to the University of Glasgow in 1991. Custody of the Scottish Brewing Archive was transferred to Glasgow University Archive Services in 2008.
