Scope and Content

William Shurrock was born in Oxford in 1818, was made Freeman of the City in 1841 and died in 1890. He lived and worked in Oxford all his life, ending up with premises at 29 Cowley Road. The business was continued by his son Alfred Edward Shurrock.

The records were deposited as Acc 2992 in August 1989.
