The papers relating to Mackay's political activism include material relating to independence movements in Nyasaland/Malawi, Southern Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, Northern Rhodesia/Zambia, South Africa and neighbouring states. Also includes material relating to the United Central Africa Association, the Capricorn Society, Justice for Rhodesia Campaign, International Refugee Council of Zambia and Institute for Race Relations.
