LETTER: W. [W]illiams, Penmone to Capt. Williams. He congratulates him upon his promotion to a captaincy and upon surviving his late trying and harassing time. He is glad that his son is still under supervision, and expresses his doubts as to his ability to pass his future examination. He asks that he have an appropriate word with George [his son]. He would like it if George could visit the Y.M.C.A. at any of the ports of call.
