File: Carl Schorlemmer

Correspondence relating to Carl Schorlemmer (1934-92), professor of organic chemistry at Owens College, Manchester and associate of Marx and Engels. Henderson wrote an article on Schorlemmer (copy present) in the 1960s and the file includes a small amount of his research notes, and correspondence. This includes an exchange with Norman Burkhardt of the University of Manchester chemistry department, who had a long-standing interest in the history of Manchester chemistry and commented on Henderson's article.
