William Peckitt was a York glass-painter who had a considerable reputation during his own lifetime. His work included the East Window of Lincoln Cathedral in 1764. In York Minster there are four windows painted by Peckitt in the South Transept. The following is a collection of papers acquired by J. A. Knowles.
