A transcript by John Dan[ie]l Jones, Hawen Hall, Rhydlewis, from Y Diwygiwr, January, 1836, of 'Cofiant y diweddar Mr. John Lloyd Morgan: Myfyriwr Yngholeg Homerton, Llundain' by [the Reverend] John] Lloyd, [Congregational] minister at Henllan [Amgoed] and in memoriam verses by 'Glantowy' [John Thomas, printer, Llanelly]; notes of sermons heard by D. M[organ] Lewis at Cambridge, 1873; an account book of contributions to the Relief Fund Association [c. 1874]; a press cutting containing an account of a Band of Hope tea and procession at Felindre, Pembrokeshire, 1882, together with a manuscript copy of verses composed for the occasion in praise of the Reverend Evan Lewis, minister of Brynberian and Felindre Congregational Churches; notes of lectures on 'Pwyll Prince of Dyfed' ('Mabinogion Class') by Mr. (aft. Professor Sir) J[ohn] Morris Jones [at University College of North Wales, Bangor], 1891; an address in a debate on 'Whether the discovery of the mariners compass, or the invention of printing has been most conducive to the welfare of society'; an address on the Government of the Christian Church; a printed card bearing 'Lines written in a lady's album by Rev. Robert Moffat, D.D.', with the author's signature; copious extracts by D. Morgan Lewis from miscellaneous printed sources; etc.
