Leaflet titled “A century of care,” which describes a heritage exhibition that took place during the centenary anniversary of the District Nursing Service in Cardiff. The exhibition took place in five local cottages (Rhydycar Cottages) which were decorated to resemble a range of historic houses, dating from 1890 to 1990. In each of these houses, volunteers in replicas of historic nurse's uniform would demonstrate the nursing practices associated with the period of the cottage, thereby highlighting the ways in which district nursing had changed over the century.
