Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The Christian Campaign in Wales was an idea taken from the London Missionary Society's 'The New Advance', which was a part of their 150th celebrations. The movement in Wales was set up mostly by young ministers and lasted seven years. They organised retreats, conferences and missions across Wales in many local communities including the University of Wales, Bangor. It was supported by ministers from all denominations and played a part in preparing the way for the ecumenical movement in Wales.
