Peace and Ellis were a firm of solicitors in Wigan, Lancashire. They accumulated papers of Lewis Foundry Co. Ltd, based in Quay Street, Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, during the early 20th century, and the Pontyberem Colliery Co. Ltd, founded in 1845, in the Gwendraeth Valley, Carmarthenshire, where it worked both the Clynhebog and Pentremawr mines.
