Scope and Content

North Leigh (otherwise Northleigh) is situated to the north-east of Witney. The parish church is St Mary's.

The parish records were deposited in several sections: the registers and the churchwardens and vestry volumes were originally deposited with the Bodleian by the Vicar of North Leigh in 1971. North Leigh charity and overseers papers were deposited with Oxfordshire Record Office as accessions 1002 and 1076 in 1972 and 1973, and were originally catalogued under references 'NC' and 'NP'. A further accession of charity papers, 6372, was deposited in 2015.

Recatalogued by Katherine Kinrade in October 2021.
