Michael Wilson (fl. 1972) of Pencader, Carmarthenshire, collected deeds and other papers realting to properties in Brecknockshire, Carmarthenshire, Glamorgan and Monmouthshire. His grandparents, Owen S. Wilson and Eleanora Wilson, had compiled The Larvae of the British Lepidoptera and their food plants (London, 1880), written by Owen S. Wilson, with figures drawn and coloured from nature by Eleanora Wilson.
