Administrative / Biographical History
William Vincent Trimm (b. 1900) was born in Govilon, Monmouthshire, to parents John and Mary Trimm. By 1911, the family had moved to Llanfair Road, Cardiff. In 1924 William married Edith G Melhuish. By 1936, they had moved to Fairwater Grove East. William Trimm died in 1975.

Custodial History
Papers were collected by William Trimm, and were passed to his son, possibly after his death in 1975. Trimm's son was chairman of a village hall management committee, and left the papers with the depositor following his death (c. 2004).
