Administrative / Biographical History
James Noel "Jim" Davies, Chartered Biologist, was born in Pontypool, where he attended New Inn Primary School and West Mon Grammar School. After leaving school, Davies went on to read medicine at St Catherine's College, Cambridge. He worked as a Local Government Officer in Landscape, Wildlife and Play before becoming an environmental campaigner. Davies has been involved in the Llanharry Action for Change project and in 2016 became President of the Friends of Nant Llwynog Park.
