The Horning Ferry Windmill is octagonal and has 3 storeys. It now stands on an octagonal weatherboarded house of one storey. All of the exterior is entirely false and late 20th century, however, the original structure remains inside. The cap, frame and centring wheels are intact, but the upright shaft and turbine pump are missing.
