Second drawing inscribed "La France encore" (there is also an extract from a letter signed by Albert Rutherston). Drawings on reverse inscribed in ink "Alice Rothenstein at the age of 63" and "Gentiles mourning in a Cathedral" and in pencil "Max Beerbohm's titles to J.F.'s".
