Great Milton is located 15 miles south-east of Oxford and was a peculiar of Thame until 1846.
The records were originally deposited in the Bodleian Library but later transferred to Oxfordshire Record Office. Further records were deposited as Acc 2605 in September 1986, Acc 3083 in May 1990, Acc 3323 in September 1991 and Acc 3510 in August 1992. Additional records were deposited as Acc 5858 in June 2009 and as Acc 6348 in February 2015.
