The Women's Research and Resources Centre (WRRC) was established in Jul 1975 as a library, information service and meeting place for people interested in developing Women's Studies, feminist research and the questions surrounding issues of sex equality and discrimination. In 1983 the name was changed to the Feminist Library.
The archive has been arranged into three groups:
5WRR/A - Administration
5WRR/B - Subject files and correspondence
5WRR/C - Resource material used in the Women's Research and Resources Centre newsletter
This collection is available for research. Readers are advised to contact The Women's Library in advance of their first visit.
The papers were donated to the Library in 1983 (5WRR/B and 5WRR/C). The papers of Pat Caplan (7PAC) contained material relating to WRRC (now 5WRR/A) donated to the Library in 2004 which were transferred in Jun 2008.
