Vincent Morris and Son, drapers, Llanelli, records

A drapers shop was established in Llanelli in the early 20th century by Rhys Evans. In 1938, he went into partnership with Vincent Morris, the company being called Rhys Evans, Vincent Morris and Company. In 1956 it became Vincent Morris and Son and in 1967 moved from Hall Street to Station Road, Llanelli. Until this time the main business involved out-selling in homes in the area. Subsequently the shop itself became the focus of the business.
