Administrative / Biographical History

Elvey MacDonald was born in Trelew, Patagonia, in 1941, and came to Wales for the first time in 1965, the centenary of the settlement of Y Wladfa. He established the Welsh radio station Radio Ceredigion, Cardiganshire, which was launched in November 1992. Amongst his publications are 'Y Hirdaith' and 'Dyddiadur Mimosa', both of which concern Welsh settlers in Patagonia.
