Probate of the Will (dated February 8th 1920) of Marian Williams of Larchwood, Tunbridge Wells, co. Kent, Widow. Testarix bequeaths to Samuel Richard Dew, solicitor of Bangor, co. Caerns, and her son Lawrence Williams (also named as her executors and trustees), £50 each, and also an extra £200 to S.A.Dew; £200 to her coachman William Vere; £30 to her gardener Owen Rumble; £50 to her daughter's lady's maid Jane Ireland; £100 to her groom Robert Thomas; also 22s per week until he finds another post or until the end of 3 months from the date of her death and three months wages to her housemaid. She bequeaths to her daughter Rosamund Williams all "household furniture, china, pictures and books". The freehold property Larch Wood above is to be handed over to the Trustees to be sold. Out of the proceeds, Lawrence Williams is to be paid £3,500, and the rest is to be paid to Rosamund Williams, as is the residue of the estate. She wishes to be buried in Tunbridge Wells Cemetery and specifies the inscription.
Codicil dated March 18th 1920 appended increasing bequest to Owen Rumble to £50.
