Single stitched gathering containing a manuscript entitled 'A brief Sketch of the operations of the Brazilian Squadron under Lord Cochrane [Thomas Cochrane, tenth earl of Dundonald (1775-1860)] during the War of the Independence of Brazil 1823-1825', by William March, ex-Portuguese Secretary, with a small head-and-shoulders pencil portrait, presumed to be of Cochrane, pasted in.
