The papers cover his arrival in India, his subsequent arrival in Dinapore, and the beginnings of his mission work. The volumes include many pasted in photographs which illustrate his writings. It is unclear however if the volumes are in Banks' hand or whether they are copies of his work. The volumes are: 1. Copy of A. L. Banks diary, 4 Nov. 1899 - 15 Jan. 1900 2. Copies of circular letters from A. L. Banks, 1900-1902 3. Copies of [circular] letters from A. L. Banks, 1903-1906 4. R.B.M.U. record of orphanage children, 1906
