A copy of Walter de Gray Birch: Notes on the Inscription of the Carew Cross, Pembrokeshire, off-printed from the Journal of the British Archaeological Association, xli (London, 1885), with photographs and letters, 1884-1885, from de Gray Birch and Joseph Sidebotham dealing with the inscription on the cross; a letter, 13 October 1914, from John (afterwards Viscount) Simon to S. T. Evans; versions of the Lord's Prayer in French and in Oberland (Grison) and Engadine dialects of Rhaeto-Romance (Ladin or Romaunsch).
