(Attached: Letter 25 April 1883: Andrew Owen, Menai Bridge, owner of Glan Menai to R Jackson, Missing? His late schooner carried a crew of 3 hands. The master was to get 2/3 of freight and was required to pay all expenses of sailing. The wages was nothing to do with the master. Also. Letter 26 April 1883: Registrar General, GR & RO, London, to Superintendent MMO, Beaumaris asking him to obtain a list of crew and account of wages in respect of Glan Menai. On Dorse: Letter 17 May 1883: Superintendent, MMO, Beaumaris to Registrar General, GR & RO London, in reply to request for Robert Jones's name to be inserted on crew list. The owner of the vessel stated that Robert Jones was uncertain whether he would again take charge of the ship, that is the reason why his name was entered as "Remains" on the form. It has since been corrected)
