Scope and Content

A Chirk Castle estate account book, 1739-1752, containing particulars of leases and rents of property in Chirk, Brynkynallt, Hallton, Gwernosbin, Penyclawdd and various townships in the parishes of Llangollen, Llansanffraid, Ruabon and Wrexham, together with an account of fines received on behalf of John Myddelton (1685-1747), 1740-1745.
