Papers of Margaret (Megan) Williams, Llanfairpwll

Margaret (Megan) Williams (d. 2011) was a resident of Llanfairpwll who engaged extensively with the Women's Institute in the village as well as being a Sunday school teacher at Capel Rhos-y-Gad. She also worked at Office Aethwy. She lived with her husband Harold Williams (d. 1977) at their family home, Haddef, Llanfairpwll. Her mother was Mary Ellen Williams (b. 1880), and her father John Phillip Williams. She had no children, but had her nieces, Jean and Gwenda, visit their home frequently during the summer months. She was awarded the Medal G in 1996 for her service to the Sunday school.
