Scope and Content

Frederick Codd 1831-1888 was an architect who designed and built many houses in North Oxford in the British Gothic Revival style. These records relate to his commission by Sir John Thompson to enlarge Woodperry House, build a house for his sisters at Stanton St John (Stanton House) and other properties on the Woodperry Estate all around 1879-1880.

These records were deposited as Acc 3038 in January 1990. Catalogued by Alison Smith in July 2024.
