Nick Ainger (b. 1949), Labour MP, was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire. Hwe worked as a marine engineer in Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire, and became a Member of Parliament in 1992. He was the MP for the Pembroke constituency, 1992-1997, and has been MP for the new constitunecy of Carmarthen West and Pembrokeshire South since 1997.
