All Saints' Church, Llandaff North was built in 1890-1891 on land given by Lord Windsor, originally as a chapel-of-ease to Llandaff Cathedral. All Saints Llandaff North became a Conventional District sometime between 1934 and 1939. The church was gutted in 1941 when it was hit by enemy incendaries 2 Jan 1941. In the immediate aftermath the congregation met in various locations including the church Institute, a schooll, Christ Church Ely and Old Radyr Church and then in a temporary church at the north of the district. The church was able to receive a grant under part I of the War Damage Act and restoration by architect Sir Percy Thomas began in 1952. The newly restored church building was completed in 1955. In 1954 the Gabalfa Housing Estate was moved from the Pairsh of Gabalfa into the remit of the Conventional District of Llandaff North. In 1960 the Conventional District was given the status of Parish. In 2014 it was absorbed into the Rectorial Benefice of Whitchurch.
