Scope and Content

The Academic Studies Committee was responsible for the Department's teaching and learning strategies and policies. It reported to the DAB and the committee of professors. The board of Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies in turn reported to it. The ASC could recommend changes to courses to the Board, which in turn could propose these to UMIST's Academic Board.
