Doorly, British Relief Expeditions

The steam yacht Morning undertook two relief expeditions to the British National Antarctic Expedition, 1901-1904 (leader Robert Falcon Scott). The first 1902-1903 was organised by the Royal Geographical Society, the second, 1903-1904 by the Royal Navy. On the second voyage the steam yacht Terra Nova was also involved. Doorly, serving on board the Morning took part in both expeditions.
