Indian fabric painting previously hung at Finlays Glasgow head office. Object was likely to have been originally a gift to a departing manager or assistant from India tea estates. Inscription behind frame reads Damodar N Joshi, Shanti Sadan, Sakharam Kir Road near Hari Niwas, Mahim, Bombay, made in India.
