Deeds, 1722-1889, relating to properties in the Ruthin area of Denbighshire and the Maentwrog area of Merionethshire.

Administrative / Biographical History

T. E. Morris was born in Porthmadog, Caernarfonshire, and became Secretary of the London Welsh Charitable Aid Society from 1900, Treasurer of the Cambrian Archaeological Association, c. 1922-1932, and a judge on the North Wales and Chester Circuit. He appears to have acquired these deeds either through his antiquarian interests or in connection with his legal duties.
