This item is a printed volume giving information about the various co-operative societies and groups, and about the history of the co-operative movement. There are numerous colour photographs which accompany the text. There are also numerous loose papers in the volume which include a typed sheet showing statistics about the Co-operative movement in May 1983; black and white photographs and illustrations of various Co-operative buildings including the biscuit works in Crumpsall; typed papers about the Food Manufacturing Group; typed papers of the history of the Co-operative Wholesale Society; and a typed copy of the text from the booklet 'Illustrated Description of a visit to Crumpsall Works'; and a souvenir brochure of Toad Lane Museum in Rochdale.
