Scope and Content

LETTER: R. Lloyd, Kingsland, Holyhead to J.F. Fuller, Architect, 179 Gt. Brunswick St., Dublin. Mr. Owen, Bryniau, Beaumaris went over with him to Dublin yesterday to see the progress of the work at the Welsh Church in Talbot Street. They were very much disappointed in the design of the pew ends which are not only antiquated and clumsy but highly inconvenient. He recommends certain alterations. They were also sorry to find that Mr. Fuller had neglected to incorporate their instructions with regard to wall and windows of the old house in the specifications. However they saw the contractor and have instructed him of their requirements. He adds that they were quite pleased with the general appearance of the place.
