Barford St Michael is situated 20 miles north of Oxford. In 1890 it was united with Barford St John.
The records were originally deposited in the Bodleian Library by Mr J Taylor, churchwarden in 1980. The material was then transferred to the Oxfordshire Record Office. Further records were deposited as Acc 6958 in March 2022.
