This file relates to past Honorary Curator, Arthur Rivis. Rivis added many objects from his personal collection to Gunnersbury Park Museum during his tenure, but when he left the Museum in 1978, disappointed and disgruntled that he had not been rewarded with a paid curatorial post, he retrieved all of these items.
This file documents the extensive correspondence between Rivis and the Museum as the exchange was arranged. It does not relate to any exhibition, but was filed within this series and so has been left, in recognition of original order.
