Administrative / Biographical History
Edwin Fagg worked as an illustrator for advertisements, magazines and books, and as a writer and lecturer. In the early part of the 20th century he worked at Newbridge Road in Bath although he later moved to Bankside, London. He designed illustrations for advertisements for products including Beecham's pills, Harbutt's plasticine and Raleigh bicycles, and was appointed official guide to the Tate Gallery in 1920.
