The Holyhead Motor Ambulance Committee was formed in 1936 to provide a volunteer ambulance service for western Anglesey. In 1948, the Welsh Home Service Ambulance Committee and Anglesey County Council became responsible for provision of ambulance services, and the Committee was wound up.
