EXTRACT out of the Consistory Court of Bangor of the will of Hugh parry of Amlwch, farmer. Various monetary bequests are made to his relatives, namely: £100 to his niece, Margaret Hughes, when she attains the age of 18, until which time his executors are to pay for her maintenance and education. £200 to be equally divided between his nephews and nieces, Henry, Robert John and Elizabeth Hughes, the children of his sister Catherine; £60 to his niece Jane, wife of William Jones; £40 each to the children of his brother John Parry; 320 to his cousin, Owen Thomas; 1 gn. To his cousin Hugh Pritchard; 2gns to John, son of John Jones of Paris Farm and to Ellen, dau. of John Owens. He bequeathes his dwelling houses called Penygraig ucha and Penygraig issa to his brother John Parry, and his tenements called Eskellog and Tythin Bach to his nephew, William Hughes, subject to the £100 legacy to Margaret Hughes and the costs of her maintenance and education and also £300 to his sister, Elizabeth, and her children. Margaret Hughes is also to have the best bedding and any furniture she likes. The residuary legatee is William Hughes, who, together with John Jones of Paris Farm, agent to the Paris Mine co. ,and John Owens of Porth Amlwch, innkeeper, is appointed executor.
