Mentions previous offer to organise British Hospital in Naples; project came to nothing. Now they are joint Honorary Secretaries of a Committee which is to form a Central Model Training School for Nurses. In the meantime they are going ahead with the provision of 'Nurses for the Sick Poor in their own homes' - District Nurses. Elaborate training is not needed 'nor could gentlewomen ever do the work exactly that will be required of these Nurses'. Would like to hear Miss Lees' views and hopes to meet her soon; she is herself going away for a holiday as she is ill from overwork but when she returns hopes Miss Lees will visit her. Envelope also present.
