Scope and Content

Works completed during Winning's time in the Graphics department, including a book design; advertisement and illustration designs; logo and symbol designs; sketches and drawings. Includes "A Histo-Pathology of Fatal Diseases," one of Winning's degree show works. Also includes a white dress made by Winning and worn on a model in a photograph that accompanies an advertisement design, as well as an award-winning logo design for Mavor and Coulson.

Administrative / Biographical History

Lindsay Wadey (1946- ) was a student at The Glasgow School of Art from 1963-1967. During her time at GSA, she studied in the General Course and the Graphics department, and was part of Section 5 under Ted Odling. She also studied under Edward Powell and Gordon Huntly, among others. Her work includes advertisement and product design, one of which won first prize for a logo project for Mavor and Coulson.
