Biographies

The group includes files of biographical material on individual potters and their potteries. The files are generally made up of cuttings of newspaper and journal articles; postcards; brief biographies; photographs and slides; promotion material for exhibitions; exhibition catalogues; pamphlets; correspondence; press releases and transcripts of interviews. Notable potters for whom files exist include Michael Cardew, Bernard Leach, Harry Davies, Rosemary Wren, Michael Casson and Walter Keeler.
