The group contains published copies of J O Francis' plays, many with manuscript annotations by Francis himself, and some marked as acting copies. These include Little Village; Tares in the Wheat; The Bakehouse; The Poacher; Birds of a Feather; Change; King of the River; Hunting the Hare; The Beaten Track, and Y Bobl Fach Ddu. Welsh versions of some of his works, by authors such as T Gwynn Jones and R Silyn Roberts, are included, as is the factual work, The University of Wales, Aberystwyth: A Short History. Also to be found is a copy of Peace Hymn, by E H Sears.
