Dr Kenneth Edward Skinner (1910-1986) conducted research into the Welsh colonies in Chubut, Patagonia, Argentina, established by Welsh colonists in 1865. Dr Skinner makes special reference to the work of Edward Jones Williams, a railway engineer from Mostyn, Flintshire, who arrived in Patagonia in 1881.
