An interleaved and annotated copy of Edward Leigh, Critica Sacra; or, Philologicall and Theologicall Observations upon All the Greek Words of the New Testament, in Order Alphabeticall, 3rd edn (London: Printed by Roger Daniel for Thomas Underhill, 1650, ESTC R43372 / Wing L991A).
The volume forms the second part, with a separate dated title page and pagination, of the author's Critica Sacra in Two Parts…, 3rd edn (London: Printed by Abraham Miller and Roger Daniel for Thomas Underhill, 1650, ESTC R11616 / Wing L991). Latin glosses in black ink throughout, in a hand of the second half of the seventeenth century, are mostly cross-references to the works of Hugo Grotius. The watermark 'PRO' on blank leaves (not in Churchill) is similar to others of the second half of the seventeenth century.
