Scope and Content

Coloured poster produced by Charles Passmore presumably as part of an advertising campaign for Hancock's brewery. The poster depicts a dray pulled by six horses. 'Wm Hancock & Co Ltd Brewery, Cardiff' is written on the side of the dray and its coachman and 3 assistants are dressed in nineteenth century costume. One assistant is shown blowing a post horn. The setting appears to be an agricultural fair.
