Scope and Content

Draft work by author Charles Fairclough, using various source material regarding the local area of Conwy. The "Gyffin Church" notes includes photographs and sketches of the Church and local buildings.

"Gyffin Church" was eventually published, but "Conwy and District - Notes on its History" is not believed to have gone any further then this draft stage.

Administrative / Biographical History

Both manuscripts were given to Ray Castle by Llew Groom in Novemeber 2017. Ray Castle has gifted them to Conwy Archive Service. Llew Groom had originally received them from Charles Fairclough.
