Scope and Content

This collection of deeds was deposited with us in 1982 and was then assigned the accession number 2024.

It is rather a miscellaneous collection, the only common link between the deeds being that they all relate to property in the north of Oxfordshire. The places covered include Adderbury, Banbury, Broughton, Grimsbury, Deddington, Horley, Kings Sutton, Swalcliffe and Wigginton. The deeds concern both land and property and in the case of Banbury they concern two public houses. They range in date from 1732-1875. The deeds have been arranged alphabetically by parish and then have been subdivided into different properties.
